Built Up Systems

Built Up Roofing Systems, or BUR for short, are multiple-ply fiberglass sheets adhered in hot asphalt adhesive or cold process adhesive and have a long history of durability. The redundancy of the field plies makes the system strong and weather resistant. These assemblies are expensive to install. BUR assemblies are quality options for new construction, and when originally designed as a built-up roofing assembly, re-roofing replacement applications. Although allowed by most building codes, we will not install BUR application in recovery system projects. Built Up roofing systems are also available in hybrid applications utilizing TPO, EPDM, PVC, and Modified Bitumen membranes as surfacing.
